AI-Native IT Asset Disposition & Electronics Recycling
Enterprise IT asset disposition with secure, documented data destruction, built for complete digital chain-of-custody, so your team can focus on real work, not e-waste.
Proudly Building in Tampa Bay, FLRecycling Done Right
American Circular is an AI-Native IT asset disposition and electronics recycling facility in Tampa Bay, Florida, designed for NIST 800-88 data destruction with serial-level, auditable chain of custody and local processing. After decades of shipping e-waste overseas, domestic processing has become a national security imperative for recovering rare earth minerals critical to our supply chain.
Our platform is built to combine computer-vision identification and AI-assisted sorting with secure, documented data destruction, giving enterprise clients a trusted local partner for IT asset disposition. It is built to process materials faster, more accurately, and at lower cost than manual operations, with a complete digital record at every step.
Circular means what it sounds like. The greenest device is the one that does not have to be built again, and roughly 80% of a laptop's lifetime carbon footprint is spent before it is ever switched on. So our process is designed to ask what can be reused before it asks what can be shredded: whole units returned to service, working components harvested for reuse, and only then materials recovered. Every step up that ladder keeps more value with our clients and more carbon out of the atmosphere.
Whether you're decommissioning a data center, refreshing your enterprise fleet, or disposing of sensitive equipment, American Circular is built to deliver the security, transparency, and rigorous documentation your organization requires.
Complete IT Asset Lifecycle Management
Secure Data Destruction
NIST 800-88 media sanitization, built for complete digital chain-of-custody. Every drive verified and documented for your records, by design.
Enterprise ITAD
Complete IT asset disposition for organizations of any size: pickup, inventory, secure destruction, remarketing, and responsible recycling, handled end-to-end so your team doesn’t have to.
Material Recovery
Precious metals and rare earth elements recovered through AI-optimized processing. Copper, gold, palladium, and more, responsibly extracted and returned to the supply chain.
AI-Powered Sorting
Our computer-vision platform is designed to identify and sort materials at 95%+ accuracy, with the speed and precision manual lines can’t match, every item logged to a complete digital record.
Data Center Decommissioning
Closing, consolidating, or migrating a facility? We de-rack, inventory, sanitize, and recover value from retired servers and network gear: one tracked workflow, serial-level chain of custody from the cage to final disposition.
Asset Recovery & Resale
Built to test, refurbish, and resell working equipment for maximum value, and to return a fair, transparent share of the proceeds to you, with a clear record of what sold and for how much. Most providers keep that upside; we don’t.
Why Us
Most electronics recycling starts at the shredder. It is fast, it settles the data question, and it destroys everything of value in the same motion. Peer-reviewed research comparing the two approaches found that shredding hard drives loses roughly 74% of their rare earth content and 44% of their gold relative to careful disassembly, because shredding oxidizes the material and scatters it.
We built our process the other way around. Computer vision is designed to identify each device at intake, to draw on our Electronics Intelligence Database for the teardown before the work begins, and to route each unit to its highest use: back into service whole, harvested for working components, or separated into clean material streams. Shredding is a tool we use when a client requires physical destruction, not a default we apply to everything.
The result is that the environmental case and the financial case point the same direction. Recovering more means returning more, and every device that goes back into service is a device that does not have to be manufactured again.

Common Questions
We handle the entire end-of-life process for your electronics: local pickup, serial-level inventory, secure data destruction, resale of equipment that still has value, and no-landfill recycling of the rest, all under one auditable digital record. You make one call; we handle everything after it.
Request a quote through the site or email hi@americancircular.ai. Tell us roughly what you're retiring and where it is; we'll scope the pickup and send a clear plan. No commitment required for an assessment.
Every data-bearing device is sanitized or destroyed in line with NIST 800-88 and documented with a certificate of destruction tied to its serial number. "We recycled it" is not the same as "the data is provably gone." We give you the second one, with the paperwork.
It's a documented, auditable trail proving exactly where every device went and what happened to it, from your dock to final disposition. It's the difference between hoping your vendor did the right thing and being able to prove it to an auditor or regulator.
If it has resale value, yes. We test, refurbish, and resell working equipment and return at least 60%, up to 75% of resale value to you, with a clear record of what sold. Most recyclers keep that upside; we don't.
It depends on volume, mix, and service level, and for many clients resale returns offset or exceed service costs entirely. Request a quote and we'll give you a clear number, fast. (No prices are quoted on the site or by our assistants; every engagement is scoped.)
Yes, local pickup across the Tampa Bay metro is core to the service, and free pickup applies on qualifying jobs. Because we're local, there are no long-haul freight charges built into your bill.
Typically within days for the Tampa Bay metro. Tell us your window when you request a quote and we'll work to it.
